Our story

Bakers Table & Pastry Co started in 2022 as we were searching for the perfect balance of flour, water, and salt and many other ingredients. Bakers Table now sells a daily selection of breads and pastries both online and in-store.

We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of old techniques and new ones, of different ingredients and flavors, and of passion and skill.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Our ingredients

We work with local sources and high quality producers to source all of the grains, fruit, and dairy that go into our breads and pastries. Our product is human—from the farmers who mill and harvest our grains, to the bakers who put passion and care into each loaf they make.

Our flour is free from all unnecessary additives and all of our baking uses real butter.

 

Rob Howland has been a high school hospitality teacher for the past 10 years. He relocated to London from Cambridge after a 4 year stint at Langdon Hall. He helped open Braise food and wine as pastry chef.

Rob spends his spare time with his kids and pets when he is not working at the bakery or teaching.
